I'm hoping for a nice selection of late model, low mileage used 9-5s, since I can't expect my two '99s to last indefinitely.
That said, I'd really like to see the 2010 in person. Since the '06 refresh, the 9-5 snout has looked to me like an after-market addition to the rest of the car. The tradition seems to continue in the 2010 edition, which looks like the front was designed by Audi and the butt was designed by Subaru. Yes, there are some traditional Saab elements in the middle.
Granted, I think the epitome of sedan design is the three-box MB from the '80s and early '90s ... Or a '48 Jaguar sedan. No faux scoops, wings, oversize chrome wheels, or other fanciful geegaws thanks very much.
Automotive design went to hell in a handbasket imho when marketing weasels figured out that women, at minimum, have veto power over the final buying decision.
Today, in a short trip to the mall, the missus and I counted 12 newish Priuses (Priui?) and only one other Saab 9-5 that could only be counted newish because it looked like all the other post-'06 9-5s. grumblegrumble
