I would love to hear what you Saab Sleuths think about this one.
2002 9-5 v6 Arc 100k miles.
Drove it two hours out of town this weekend. Once there, took it out on a straight country road, radio on, and I may or may not have driven about 100 mph briefly, then back to regular speed. Stopped at a convenience store. Pulling out of c-store onto the road, I drove (5mph) over a pothole with the right rear wheel (THUNK!) Drove 5 miles, parked, looked for wheel damage and had none. Then I noticed the Check Engine Light was on. Shut off and then back on, SID showed no errors, but CEL was still on.
Drove back into town 2 hrs this morning and Autozone ran OBD test and it wouldn't run. He replaced the 15amp radio fuse (I had not tried to use the radio on the way back home and did not know it was blown) and when he did the OBD ran and came up with code P0133 (O2 sensor bank 1, sensor 1).
I decided to come here and check the web for how hard it is to replace the o2 sensor. When I started the car, I noticed the CEL was still on. Within 5 miles the CEL was off.
I'll do a better inspection of the sensor(s) and the muffler when I can later today.
Does anyone else have ideas of what may have happened to this car??? -JerryC
