... the headliners are usually put in a few stations before the windshield ;-)
In a sedan, it is really tough to get the headliner out - I usually try to fix whatever I need with the headliner still in the vehicle.
Those suicide rear doors on some cars, or "access cab" trucks, make it INFINITELY easier to get the headliner out!!
Also, just want to throw a safety message out there - be careful when working around the side airbags - don't disconnect any of the wiring unless you really know what you are doing!
