I own one, it is a great car. The engine is very strong as is
the manual gearbox.
Are you looking at an AUTO or a Manual?
Before you buy, test drive it and look for following things.
a) Tire wear, is it even?
b) Does everything work, AC etc.
c) How does it drive on premium fuel?
d) Should be no vibration in steering wheel at idle AUTO or Manual!
e) The shock absorbers should not allow the hood to dive and rise
more then once. (down, back to normal) when you brake at 15 MPH.
f) There should be no ratles, cause the 9-5s don't have any.
g) Look at the brake and brake pads and discs, the pads should
be good, the discs should not have any cracks. (unlikely problem)
h) Do you get a warranty?
My Aero has been trouble free, only a couple of subframe
boltups to get the handling back to specs, something
you should have done.
If you are looking at the AUTO, make sure you
don't have vibrations in the steering wheel and
shift lever when you're stopped in D.
You should just barley feel the engine in the
steering wheel, in no case should you ever see
vibration or feel it strongly.
Regards,
Coolknight
