My daughters car decided to have a few problems today.
First, she came home with a white cloud coming out from the front of the car, I saw green fluid dripping down directly under the water pump, so naturally I figured the water pump was toast.
As I looked deeper into it, I noticed the green was actually flourescent green, and the white cloud was freon.
One of the aluminum pipes on the AC system was up against the tranny cooler line, and had worn a hole in the AC pipe, the green must be dye used to find leaks.
SO, the car is driveable, she will just have to keep the windows down.
(I had to explain what 4/60 cooling meant)
The only problem is once we put all the windows down, the drivers window won't come back up.
I removed the door panel and all the rollers are intact, the glass is in it's track.
When I push the window button, there is a clunk at the window motor, both up and down, so it has power.
What the heck is wrong with the window?
Any tips on replacing the AC pipe?
