Hello, Experiences: Both FWD,non-turbo V70s I've owned, a '99 and '02, have been very good to me. Sway bar links in the first one doesn't count as a front end woe in my book. The successful $60 transmission download in the '02 has not made me fear the worst. In fact, with another available download, common wear can be addressed. HURRAY! for electronic controled transmissions. Both Saab 9-5s in the family, a '99 SE sedan and a '02 Linear wagon, both 2.3s, have been very good cars too. The '99 did lose its A/C evaperator at 9 years of age and its pulleys sqeek symphonicly. All four cars' needs have resulted in a handful of minor part purchases: WW nozzle, coolant temp. probe, WW reservoir level sensor, 1 headlamp socket, fuel door hinge, 1 window master switch, 1 heater by-pass valve, 1 soft rubber top engine mount, 1 front engine mount, 1 exhaust hanger, 1 rear muffler. Can anybody match each part to a marque? Opinions: I think turbo owners pound on their cars, It's good to have money. Kira
