So, I'm thinking about renting a place in Edgewater, NJ. It's nestled on the side of a cliff between trees and has a unobstructed view of the NYC skyline. I poked around the higher parts of that town and went down a street that was so steep at the bottom my front Aero spoiler almost got jammed at the bottom.

The hill I'm thinking of isn't as steep - front spoiler clears at the bottom with no problem - but, it's a hill nonetheless. Am I asking for trouble with the wide 17"? Will I need snows? Or just a new set of Allseason tires? I don't want to have to invest in snows because I won't be keeping the 03 Aero for more than this upcoming winter and next.

Any of you guys live in hilly areas?

Recently I have been giving though to leasing something small and fast without overhangs. Mini comes to mind, without the retro Brit styling. I would lease an AWD 9-1 or Audi A1 in a heartbeat.
