Here is what the current owners of the older Saab's are forgetting about. If you cannot sell new cars to the general public you will not survive. That is what happened. You cannot live in the past, it will not pay the overhead of the manufacturing plants. I have a 2002 Sport Wagon. Has 182,000 miles on it. To me the Cadillac Styling looks great. With the turbo I might considerate it. If you can't appeal to the masses in style and price you will not be around. That is why Lexus sells more that Saab, look at the stickers and what you get! No way would I pay 45K for a Saab, when the same dealership has Audi and Lexus franchises next door. Enough said, If you want the brand to survive you need to go out and buy a 2009 Saab this weekend. If you don't like the styling then why should someone who has never own one purchase one. It's styling and price to survive.
