Smokey start-ups, oil leaking from turbo :(

I do all of my own oil changes and am careful to get the level as high as possible without an "overfill" situation. Well, I may have finally blown it this time. Backing up a bit, I've noticed occasional smokey start ups with this car, albeit much less so since i upgraded the PCV system, but it still happens sometimes for whatever reason. Since this last oil change, it has happened A LOT. Not on every start up, but probably 50% of the time. Could a slight oil overfill have caused this sudden change in behavior? I recently noticed that it looks like oil is seeping from the middle of the turbo charger, where the exhaust and compressor sides come together. After seeing this, I'm beginning to lose hope. I've read some other posts that say the overfill can cause the smoke, but the oily turbo surfaces sound like a doomed unit to me. The car has had less than 1k miles on it since the oil change, most of which were highway without heavy boost, but none the less i feel like if it were going to just "burn off" the excess oil, it would have done so by now and that i have a more serious problem. If anyone has any suggestions, please let me know. Thanks!
