A few things that will make a difference..
1) Driving with the climate control set to AUTO will hurt your economy, as you're engaging the AC compressor when you use this setting..
2) Tire pressure will also make a difference
3) 2000 miles really isn't anywhere near broken in...but I would think you should be in the range advertised by now
4) types of drives you do... short local drives are killers... Reset your ECU and take it on the highway for a bit and see what you register
5) your driving habits.. Given that you have the AERO, it may be impossible to ask you to tame your habits !!
6) doublecheck the computation by filling your tank as the other poster (Rick P) suggested..
7) are you using the proper octane ??
