Herb, what does the noise sound like, is it a rattle?
Is the noise coming from the front or back shocks?
Or both?
You may well be experiencing something different but I've removed and reinstalled my rear suspension several times since installing Koni Sports due to rattling. It's primarily come about from the top nut working loose -I finally got it to stay tight by adding a nylock nut to the shaft.
More recently, I've had to rebuild the strut assembly to replace the bushings and custom washers. From now on, any time I replace dampers, I'll go ahead and replace those other parts as a precaution.
If the noise is coming from the front, sometimes the sway bar linkage can be culprit especially if damaged when removed or installed when replacing the strut.
