Temperature sensor? Posted by MI-Roger [Email] (#882) [Profile/Gallery] (more from MI-Roger) on Tue, 18 Aug 2009 05:09:39 In Reply to: Radiator Failed - Bad Luck/Good Luck, RegQ, Mon, 17 Aug 2009 21:08:09 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
You didn't say if the engine is a 4-cylinder or 6-cylinder, but it is usually recommended to replace the temp sensor with the thermostat on the 4-cylinder engines. Maybe the sixes too?
I love how my car has never broken down in inconvenient places. I have experienced a dead battery, a failed coolant by-pass valve, and a failed CPS when attempting to start the car in my own driveway! The fuel pump failed when we were only two miles from home, and the initial battery failed in a coffee shop parking lot 1/2 mile from work - 8 miles from a Dealership.
