Still working out all the bugs in my 'new to me' 2003 9-5 Aero Wagon.

Car has 55,000 miles. Last weekend I replaced the cabin air filter. It was black and had lots of leaves and twigs on it. I cleaned out the housing where it's held as best as I could. I did not replace the little foam strip at the top because it was so well attached to the ceiling of the filter housing [Maybe that was my mistake.]

So anyway, the car still smells really musty whenever I start it up. When the AC comes on it gets a bit better. Any ideas what might be causing this? Any way to flush out the entire air intake system? What about those decontamination sprays you can buy? If I spray that in the fresh air intake under the hood, will that help?
