Hi all. Several weeks ago I posted about blowing my AT a week after buying my 02 Aero. It was still under the 2 month used vehicle warranty and was replaced by the dealer. Actually it took two transmissions and three weeks to get it fixed (something internally wrong with the first one they put in).
I just wanted to post a comment about the excellent service I received from Mitchell Saab/Volvo in Simsbury CT. The gave me a loaner (07 9-3) for the entire 3 week span, and kept me updated about the repair every couple of days. I honestly could not have expected or even hoped for better service or a better experience with a dealer.
Also, as nice as the newer 9-3 was for a few weeks, it is a thrill to have the 9-5 back and running great. It has just under 73K miles, I have all the service records from 20K on and the oil was changed on average every 5600 miles - and now a new (well, remanufactured) transmission.
