MAF "deviation from calculated values": do you mean "requested air mass" vs actual air mass? or a calculated number that should match the actual MAF reading?
I have an open SID (in 02 aero), which allows me to monitor "requested" air mass and the actual MAF reading. These numbers match very well (within 1-2%) all the time. At idle, the air mass flow (?units) is 126-129. If you're having a deviation of 18, which approx 14%, then this is likely significant.
If you are sure that the MAF meter itself is OK, then it could be either a leak or a faulty throttle body. If there are no leaks, then I would consider a new throttle body. You may also consider a re-built throttle body from BBA.
