Het there Aero'ed:
When I press the "econ" button the air conditioning display keeps the econ light on and I have fan forced air, but no conditioned air. The a/c continues to show that it is in the econ mode (no matter how many times I hit the "econ" button. I can turn the unit on and off with the "OFF" button. In archived posts at TSN it pointed to two possible causes...so I wanted to check.
It corrected itself by the next morning--I could push the "econ" button and the air conditioner would switch between econ and non-econ mode, and I would get fan forced or conditioned air, respectively. Curious as to why this happens and if I need to start looking for a particular part ASAP.
As for the air conditioning fan display...it was better the next morning as well. Even before it corrected itself, I could speed up or slow down the fan speed, use all the air flow options. I could even use the "AUTO" button to turn on the mode, but then the "econ" light would appear in the display.
Again, any advice you can give to assist me in chasing this down would be greatly appreciated. Right now, it just seems like a minor, quirky issue, but if it starts to get much colder and rainier I'm sure it will become a pain.
