I put 4 new tires on my 2006 sport combi last week. I had an alignment done 3K miles ago but with the new tires the car was pulling to the right so I had them check the alignment again. The numbers were spot on. They then moved the fronts to rear but if anything it got worse. Take my hands off the wheel and the car will change lanes in about 8-10 seconds, faster if on a cambered highway in the left lane. Even if in the right lane it will climb the camber rather than go with the flow and drift to the right. This is a CPO I've had for 10K. I didn't notice this while trying to get the last few thousand miles out of the OEM tires. The new tires are 17" Bridgestone Potenza 970's which were rather expensive (even as a Tire Rack special) so I don't want to chew them up in 10K miles. They are directional so I'm thinking of having them remounted and switched right to left to see if that helps. The Carfax on the car (and yes I know Carfax are not a definitive record) reported a "minor accident to rear fender". Should I have the frame inspected - or would that have show up with the 4 wheel alignment? Thanks in advance for any advice.
