1999 9-5 2.3 106K

I'm pretty new to the Saab product and forum. I'm not the most mechanically inclined individual in the world but, I love my saab and I want to keep it running down the road for years to come.

I live in Minnesota and temps here range from 100f in the summer to -30f in the dead of winter. Would there be any problem running the 0w40 synthetic year round? Are there any reasons why you would not run this type of oil in any other instances?

Just thought I would check with the experts before it starts to get cold up here!
