It's an E20. Posted by B Millar [Email] (#1109) [Profile/Gallery] (more from B Millar) on Sat, 24 Oct 2009 12:06:49 In Reply to: External Torx size 2005 front brakes, CraigU, Sat, 24 Oct 2009 11:54:04 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
I can 95% guarantee that no automotive stores around you will have that socket in stock. I ripped into the front brakes on my 2004 and found that stupid E20 torx bolt and was really angry. I called about five auto stores in a 20 mile radius and they either didn't have it in stock or laughed at me because they didn't think it even existed. You'll have to order it most likely.
Thank GOD I have an absolutely AMAZING independent mechanic three minutes from my house who was willing to let me borrow his Snap-On ($$$) E20 socket for the afternoon. Cough *Collinsville Motorcars in Canton, CT* cough cough.
