Solenoid Valve for heat exchanger

That valve is not the turbo bypass solenoid valve. Its the solenoid valve for the heat exchanger (heater core)
The climate system is equipped with a vacuum controlled shut-off valve for the heat exchanger. This is used when it is necessary to prevent coolant circulating in the heat exchanger so that maximum cooling efficiency can be achieved. The control module controls a solenoid valve which in turn manoeuvres the shut-off valve.
The valve looks just like the solenoid valve for the turbo bypass valve, but I'm not sure if they are the same part number. Sometimes a valve can look like another valve, but they may control the flow of vacuum differently. I'm at home so I don't have access to SAAB epc (electronic parts catalog) You may just want to call a dealer and ask for the newest part number.
