As other posters have said, the front seats don't cycle on time - they are "on" all the time whenever the switch is turned on. They do cycle on the actual temperature in the seat, and that reading comes from a thermister located in the seat.
As I learned from one of the other saab forums, you can "trick" the switch into thinking that the seat is cooler than it actually is - this will cause the seat heater to run longer/warmer.
320 ohms give a good boost in temperature - the higher the ohms the greater the temperature boost.
Pin 6 is the wire you want to break into. Just connect the resistor in series with the wire. For front left, it should be yellow/red and for front right, its green/white. These are the colors WIS says, which sometimes is wrong so the colors could be different.
