you need to compare total costs with financing

Granted, the lease deal looks pretty good with less than 1% interest, but it's based upon the MSRP.

GM also has 0% financing on Linear's, and I don't think that you have to pay MSRP. If you can get a $1000 or more off, well compare the numbers.

Edmund's TMV (for my zipcode) for base Linear is $30,894 vs. $34,695 MSRP. Even if I didn't want to use GM's financing (can't remember the loan length, probably 48 months or less), my credit union's rates are less than 6% for 84 months, less than 5.5% for 60, and with 20% down and 100% direct deposit, I was looking at around 4.5% for 60 months.
