I posted this on the General bulletin Board but it was suggested I post it on the 9-5 board.
I have a 2006 Saab 9-5 Wagon, 2.3T . In the past week I started having this problem. I start the car in the morning. After about 10-15 minutes, once it reaches operating temperature, it stalls, whether in traffic or just idling in the garage. After I restart the car it does not stall for the rest of the day, even after leaving parked for several hours. The next morning I go through the same sequence of stalling only once.
I don't know if this is a related symptom/problem but about a month ago I went to use the car after it was parked about an hour. I had to crank the car several times to get it to start. This continues to happen once in a while.
I plan to take it to a mechanic in the next couple of weeks but I am hoping to get more symptoms recorded before then.
