Alarm problems are caused by dead batteries in the Siren module, and/or failed capacitors in the Siren module. You can have the siren replaced for ~$400, rebuilt for ~$50, or turned off by a Saab Tech for ~$50 to ~$25.
Speedometer, Odometer, and dash warning lights are "probably" caused by a failed ABS control module. A Saab Tech should be able to diagnose this but the car may need to be in the failed mode for them to see the fault on the test equipment. Receiving a Check Engine Light with code P1925 is pretty much a definitive indicator that the problem is a failed ABS control module, but no Check Engine Light might mean it is a failed wheel speed sensor.
A new wheel speed sensor is ~$65 for part only, maybe one hour to install.
A new ABS control module is ~$2,500 for the part only. That's right, two-thousand five-hundred dollars.
A rebuild of your existing ABS module is ~$150, and one hour of D-I-Y time to remove/replace.
Many of us here have had one or both of the Siren and ABS Control Module rebuilt by BBA_Reman located near Boston.
