I "jumpered" the two pins by stuffing a piece of aluminum foil between the two pins, and held it in place with a rubber band around the relay. Halogens lit up very nicely.

People are going to jump all over my McGyver technique, but I was on the road, and the sensor in my auto-leveling headlights had failed, which meant the headlights aimed about 10 feet ahead of the car.

When I got home, I undid the foil jumper, and replaced my Xenons with new ones. The dramatic difference in brightness convinced me that I didn't need all four headlights. There are times when the Xenons reflect off street signs and it's bright in my eyes. I just don't need all four.

But, it was nice to have this option in a pinch.
