Well, if all are OK, you shouldn't have an intermittent cranking problem.
I assume with start problem you mean cranking problem in that the starter motor does not engage and cranks over engine?
I am always hesitant to throw parts at a car even when I have a gut feeling that it could be this or that. I always want to see the problem acting up in person so that I can take some measurements and hopefully narrow it down to the real problem and repair it.
As in this case, both the starter and gear selector switch are very likely culprits but since you still have the problem after replacement, obviously they were not in this case.
So now after shot gun repaired the car, he still need to sit down, hook up test equipment and measure his way to the real problem. This can take a long, long time all depending on how often the problem occurs.
What needs to be determined is if the starter solenoid receives a clean strong signal of 12V with high enough amperage to trip the starter solenoid.
If that voltage signal is not strong enough (but present), the whole system back to battery needs to be checked again including ignition switch, starter relay, gear selector switch and wires including voltage drop test over each crimp connection.
If no voltage at all is noted at starter solenoid, the focus has to be on starter relay and the reasons what triggers the relay like the ground signal supplied from TWICE unit and power supply to relay.
It is a very tedious job and if the intermittent crank only happens every blue moon, you need to think about how much money you want to spend on it since the shop has to get paid for the diagnostic time in one or another way no matter how long it takes.
The possibility f bad parts are always a possibility so hopefully brand new parts of high quality were used.
