I woke up with about five inches of snow on the ground this morning. UConn only canceled classes up to 10am! They're usually really cautious about weather... I got to miss my 9 o'clock but had to be there for my 10am. I started my 9-5 to let it warm up while I cleared it off and dug out a little, watching my neighbor attempt to climb the hill about nine times in his Accord. He got stuck halfway up and backed all the way down each time... Not sure what he thought would be different about the second, third... EIGHTH time. If I had tow cables I may have offered to try pulling him up, haha. I popped the Saab in Sentronic, clicked up to second gear, and zoomed right up the hill! There wasn't a grain of sand or salt on the roads; just packed snow and slush, which was fine with me. My car handled beautifully in deep slushy intersections, and on the packed snowy roads. Pretty much no one was out; I saw about 4 Subarus, a few Audis, and a Jeep I think. The 9-5 VERY secure with a decent set of snow shoes on it. I was disappointed on my way home this afternoon that the roads were just wet. Driving in snow is a lot of fun!
