Troubleshooting power seat switch

I have a 2003 9-5 Aero. This fall, my battery was being drained by the passenger seat electricals. The switch for the rear seat height motor is not "clicking" when I try raise it up (consequently, this motor does not raise the seat), so I assume there is a bad connection or something that is causing the drain on the battery.
I pulled the fuse for the passenger seat, which solves the battery problem. However, I would like to find a way to use all the other motors if possible. I've attached links to a couple pictures of the switch. I also found a wiring diagram for a '97 9000; I think the wiring might be the same as for my 9-5, and it says the green wires are the ones going to the motor in question.
Here are my questions: If I disconnected one or both of the green wires from the switch itself, would I prevent the unnecessary draw on my battery that was occurring? Or, do you think simply unplugging the motor would solve the problem? Maybe there's another way I could actually fix the switch without having to buy a new one at $180?
