1999 9.5 full synth vs. semi synth vs. regular oil

Is there any reason NOT to use full synthetic oil in a 1999 9.5 wagon? The owners manual calls for semi synthetic which is what the indy is sticking to. I have run everything from semi, to full, to regular oil (changed at 3,000 mile intervals). Now that the car is at 105K and ROCKING, I want to treat it right. I'm going to drive it into the ground and figure I can get another 100K out of it easily. Thanks.
