I too had all the same symptoms and dutifully sent the ABS module off for a rebuild. However, after it was back in, same failure warnings. My indie shop did a Tech II diagnosis and got the culprit code - a rare failure of one of the solenoids in the ABS pump unit. Luckily, he offered me a discount for a used replacement pump if I parted it out of a salvage car on his lot. $250 was a lot less expensive than $2500 for a new unit! SO, my best advice is to spend the money to get a Tech II diagnosis first before throwing money after the wrong assumption.
Best of Luck,
Kirk D.
