about $10k over last 5-6 years not including tires and fluid maintenance, bulbs and other fixes DIY like resoldering high-beam relay and odd stuff like the sunroof shield (which I removed). there were other things not listed during the Saab warr. believe me, I put it up for sale after the whole fuel tank fuel pump fiasco! then decided to keep it. it's been OK since except for A/C. still cheaper than car payments on a new car, esp of similar appointments. I never recommend Saabs to non-Saab people though. it's a curse us Saabers live with.
oh, I did buy an Warr Gold ext warr right after Saab warr went out. paid the whole thing up front $2400 for 5yr 100k more miles. the underwriter went insolvent a few months later before I ever got to use it. all my $ was gone. if I had made payments on it I would have only been out the payments thus far. so, you don't want my luck!
I am blessed otherwise though. I have to keep perspective. Been married 17 years. four sons. live in sunny south Florida. great church family. no car payments.
