There may be some posts by me here on the board somewhere and GOTTSPD, because he and I had a similar problem - mine came after a blizzard in which the contacts in the motor got wet.
Either the motor or the wiper stalk controller. If you have a Haynes, see page 12-37 for the wiring diagram. It looks like pins 33, 55, 21, 63, 58 and 68 on the DICE are involved.
Weird enough, but eventually the problem went away. And that was almost five years ago.
