Mine broke in the same place and I needed to fix it the same day. I found some fuel line that fit tightly over the hard line, some small hose clamps and a T connector that fit the fuel line. Take the T connector and add a few inches of fuel line to each side, sort of like pig tails. Cut off the hard line so you're removing the white plastic that's still inside it. Slide the fuel line over the hard line and use hose clamps at every point where the fuel line fits over the hard line and T connector. The hard line is hard enough that the fuel line will seal when clamped. It's not pretty but it appears to not leak. Solves the problem until you can fix it with a new original line.
