A/C heater distribution woes (long)

I know this has been brought up numerous times before, but to date it doesn't seem that anyone has a real fix for the problem, which is drivers side air blows 5-10 degrees warmer than the passenger side. I have been working on this off/on for over a year. To date, I have replaced numerous plastic bits and pieces in the distribution system, both on drivers and passenger side. I now have a working system with no codes when I run diagnostics (auto/off).
One thing I have noticed is that the heat on the drivers side increases each time I run diagnostics in a series of 3. What I mean is if run the diagnostic (zero codes every time), the drivers side comes on hotter than before, until the third time I run it, where it goes back down to only 5-10 degrees warmer. The second time it is really hot, even if the temp control is down to 58.
It seems that it is just out of sync, but no matter how many times I run diagnostics, it never is perfect like it was until all of this started happening. I plan to take it all apart again (both sides, I've actually gotten quite good at it) and hopefully I can get everything aligned and working together. Before I did that, I thought I would see if anyone has actually found something that could help me get it all aligned properly. Any comments are greatly apprieciated.
