Two things I'd look at:
1) is the battery tied down properly, and are the connections tight? Also, is the battery cover installed over the battery (all 9-5s had a battery cover). Possibly something is shorting, or loosening when on the angle.
2) How much fuel is in the tank? I know my 1999 LPT has "trouble" starting if the tank is blow 1/4. It cranks fine, just takes a lot longer than when there is more fuel in the tank. I'm not sure if this is a fuel pump on the way out, or what, but it is what it is.
As always, is the car cranking but not starting? If it is cranking at a normal speed when you turn the key, but doesn't "catch" and run on its own, that's likely not a battery problem, but fuel or some other part of the fuel/air/spark continuum.
Good luck!
