I've got the same car. I had the fluid replaced last year. I bought some Toyota T-IV fluid and brought it to my independent Saab mechanic and he put it in.
Ever since I bought the car with 31k miles on it second gear has made a loud screaming sound between 2700ish and 4300ish rpm. It's not like that whiny drone that you hear in old Jeeps and Pontiacs with failing transmissions, the best way I can think to describe it is as a loud Jetson's car from 3000-4000 rpm. I've put 16k miles on it and the sound hasn't changed at all. I read a little bit about people adding additives to reduce this sound... but I'm not about to go throw any kind of off-the-shelf additive in there.
If Aisin actually has an additive that they recommended to your transmission shop, I would be really interested in learning more.
