I'm with Ron on this one... Tell the truth, but at the same time don't be vindictive. Sometimes people just develop a bad attitude towards their car if they have a few problems early on. If you have a bad dealer who can't fix those problems the situation only gets worse.
Here's how *I* would answer the survey...
Anything that was clearly the fault of the car (like engine, transmission, electrical problems, etc) would be noted. Anything that I broke through normal wear and tear, abuse, or hard driving conditions would NOT be noted. (Hitting a deep pothole at speed and ruining your rims plus damaging your suspension is not the fault of the car)
Anything that the DEALER broke while fixing something else would not be noted since it's not indicative of a problem with Saab's manufacturing. Likewise, if the car was at the dealer to fix the same problem several times, that doesn't reflect on Saab... That's dealer incompetance.
Just be honest and fair when answering the survey... Don't try and "get even" or anything like that. It proves little.
What have been your major issues with the 9-5 anyway??
