hot on passengers. Here's what I do: (1) close all the vents on the drivers side, open the passenger vents and direct them toward the driver,(2)set the drivers side to 66, passenger's side to 68 degrees, (3) press "auto", (4) press the recirculate button, (5) press the upper-air-only button, and (6) turn on the heated seats. For me, that keeps everything pretty comfortable down to about 0 degrees(f). Just broke this winter, so I don't know yet if I'll be able to get the air conditioning comfortable or not.
