Well i've read all the archives on turbo oil leaks, and I think my car just wants to be "special".
The car: 2004 linear 9-5 auto, 53k miles.
The problem: oil leaking from turbo at compressor inlet. It drips from the v-band. There's no smoke, ever, no operational problems, no codes, just a dirty driveway. I have to add about a pint of oil every 2000 miles.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated :)
There's another thing....my car, being and 04, has the updated PCV system and I noticed the grey valve that is inline from the oil separator box to the compressor intake, well that valve does not work very well - it allows flow in both directions mostly. I bought a new one (comes as hose with valve) and it did not work. Returned it and got another new one, and the valve in it does not seal either. So I have kept it in my garage and I stare at it from time to time. Just though it was time to share this.
thanks much
chris
