Changed the oil and filter yesterday, replaced the air filter, cleaned the MAF, cleaned air temperature sensor, and cleaned the throttle body. Found the rubber inlet hose that supplies inlet air to the throttle body with quite a pool of oil. This seems to happen with my car, despite that I've had 3 turbochargers in 85K miles. Don't know if the turbo gets too much oil, doesn't drain back into the pan correctly, or what? I never see smoke nor do I have to add oil in 3500 miles. I verified the check-valve operation on the PCV system. BTW, the air filter had 25K miles on it and looked really clean. I probably should not have changed it yet. Guess I should have RTM to see what the recommended air filter change interval is.
