You might check with a Saab dealer. If it was done by a Saab dealer there should be a service record , via the vin #, that will tell you what has been done. The car, appearing to be well maintained, may have been serviced at a dealer. That is not too say indies do not do as good a job, frequently better in my experience. If the belt was changed but not the pulleys and tension er you may experience belt failure. A new belt running on old guides has lead to component failures for some v6 owners in the past. More expensive to replace all but well worth it from a labor, preventive maintenance stand point when compared to the cost of a failure.I change the water pump every 2 belt changes. The thermostat is another part that is a good candidate during belt replacement. It is lot to get done at one go but the labor and time saved is worth it. The engine is very reliable but like all interference engines has disastrous consequences for not maintaing the timing components.
