There's no way the poly mount is responsible for the turn signal block coming loose. They just have crappy plastic clips that break on their own. Not all that uncommon, even for people without the poly mount installed.
I had one for a while in my '04 Aero and it drove very nicely and I am 100% sure it tightened up my steering too. I unfortunately noticed a lot of extra idle vibration, cabin noise, and a harsh vibration through my seat when the engine was under load so I took mine out. I wouldn't let my experience talk anyone out of trying it on their own, because there seems to be a lot of variation in how different 9-5's react to them. Beats me as to why though.
Click below for a sample of the extra vibration I noticed with the poly mount. After taking it out my grill no longer rattles.
