95 Wagon - collecting dirt & grit

Hello All,
I have a MY2000 Saab 95 Wagon - just wondering If anyone has come across this "problem". The water drainage channels at base of the front and rear doors seems to be a natural collection point for grit and dirt. In particular, there is a rubber strip that runs along the bottom rear door frames and the points where the rubber meets the rear wheel arch does not appear to be sealed. This means that road debris can even get in behind the rubber. The abvious solution is for me to seal it with a suitable glue - but before I do this I thought I'd ask if anyone else has noticed this on thier 95's?
Thanks in advance,
Cathal Finnegan (yes - it's a strange Irish name!!)
