My wife recently had the oil changed in our 03' 9-5 wagon. Right after this was done we started to notice blue smoke. I know for a fact they use the Havoline 5w-40 full synthetic. I have read on previous post that this could be oil pooling in the turbo, or a gasket that needs replacing. But I have also read other posts to change the oil again and put the correct weight oil in (10w-40).
I am willing to wait until the next oil change is due as long as this is not hurting the engine or turbo.
Any advise? should I wait until the next oil change and do it myself this time (I perfer to do that time was an issue this last time)
Can I check for leaks without removing to much?
