All,
I have an 06 9-5 sportcombi with 46k miles on it. I've noticed for a little while now that when the turbo kicks in and is in the white zone of the gauge, there is a rattle that sounds like it is coming from the right front of the car. It kind of sounds like there is a pebble/small rock in some kind of pipe and when the turbo kicks in there is this constant pitter patter noise that is constant while the turbo is on in the white zone, when the turbo goes off, the sounds goes away. The frequency is constant and does not increase/decrease.
Any ideas? Haven't had the dealer look at yet.
