Monroe rear shocks....

Installed a pair yesterday on the rear of my Aero-suspension '01 lpt wagon, replacing KYB shocks with 100k km on them.
The KYBs still had a ton of gas pressure in them - enough that I really had to lean on them to compress them - and approx. equal compression and rebound damping when operated by hand.
The Monroes have less gas pressure, what feels like NO compression damping, and more rebound damping than the KYB.
The car is much better to drive with the new Monroes - doesn't keep bouncing over big bumps, keeps straight over sharp bumps, doesn't feel like it wants to bottom with loads in the back...
Only negative is my wife reports from the back seat that initial impact on bumps feels sharper.
Ride height is good as well.
Anyways, happy with the results and we'll see how they hold up.
Recommended for someone looking for a stock-type replacement rather than a $200 sport shock.
