Although the photos indicate that you may have it.
Anyway, that part you have in the line is not a Saab part. Someone cut the hose and spliced in whatever it is - possibly a PCV valve from some other car. The hose in question connects the oil trap to the turbo inlet pipe and does not have a check valve in it.
On high boost the turbo inlet pipe is drawing a vacuum, while the intake manifold (where the skinny hose from the valve cover is connected through a check valve) is pressurized. Low boost: vice versa. The hoses and check valves (in the other hoses) are designed to ensure that vacuum always exists in the crankcase, reducing the chance for oil leaks and minimizing the concentration of products of combustion (which include acid forming, oil destroying NOX and water vapor).
