Odd fluid leak, odd location.

Well, I just finished replacing oil cooler, replaced all the banjo bolts and washers related to that. Changed out coolant temp sensor, replaced oil pressure switch, replaced front leaking valve cover gasket, as well as all PCV hoses and valve. Been a crazy month, but car is running nice and smooth again! :)
Only one problem remains, however. Since I have changed my oil cooler, I was using water and simple green to flush out the nasty milkshake remains from the coolant. Unfortunately it seems to be leaking very slowly still, but it may just be that dirty.
Anyway, I have a water leak near where the coolant bypass valve is. Oddly, I am not losing any coolant. It leaks for a couple minutes, then only drips, almost as though a bit leaks right away, then just drips down the side of the engine. It's really odd, happens every time I start the car. Any idea what this is?
BTW, no, it's not condensation from the AC, I've checked. :)
P.S. Another quick question I had, when I was replacing the valve cover gasket, I noticed the tubes from the DIC went down into oil in between the valves. Is this area supposed to have oil, considering the spark plugs are here? Thanks..
