'07 9-5 Auto vs. '08 9-5 Manual

So, ladies and gentlemen of the board, after 7 months of ownership of my 07 9-5 Aero Sportwagon equipped with an automatic transmission and 40K mi, i've decided to look for one with a 5sp manual. There's nothing wrong with the auto, aside that it's an auto, and the flappy paddles on the steering wheel lack the responsiveness one would desire.
Last weekend, i saw one pop up on the East Coast at a large Saab dealer so I decided to see if they'd offer me a reasonable swap. It was an '08 w/ 30K mi, non-Aero, but appeared to be a fine specimen (and was certified, to boot!). The salesman stated that it would take until Monday to get something back to me, so I waited.
Today I get an email from the salesman at the dealer, stating that it would be about $10K difference to trade! Seems like a stiff price to pay for moving up a year, and down 10K miles, but I guess they know what they're doing...
Needless to say, I think i'll stay with my wagon for a while longer. I'll just keep hitting the sport button to get my grins!
