Well, the Key FAQ pretty much covers it...
"Key Not Accepted" means that TWICE does not recognize your key's transponder chip.
So long as the key still turns all the locks, you don't need to have an additional key cut (more later...). What you DO need, though, is to take ALL of your keys, and the car to a Saab dealer, and have them program TWICE for all your keys. You MUST bring ALL the keys to have them programmed. Any key you forget at home will no longer be able to start the car, and give you the "Key Not Accepted" message in SID.
How many total keys do you have for the car? Personally, I recommend getting as many as you can, up to the limit of 4. Keys are cheap. TWICE is not...
I'm the only driver on the two 9-5s I've had, and I've always kept three keys minimum programmed for it.
